Robbing Peter to Pay Paul won't work.
All car sales are down for all companies. One company trying to get more customers out of a declining market means that someone is going to fail. People are out of work. What is going to get people out of work or soon to be out of work or worrying about being out of work to buy cars?

6. A LESSON FROM AIG: If you give them too much credit, they can't pay it back.
What you need to "give them" is good jobs, jobs that pay well. We need energy independence and an industrial base that produces products for domestic use and export. We need to produce products other than just weapons.
