WASHINGTON (AP) -- Republican presidential contender Rudy Giuliani says if elected, he'd be open to his wife's attending Cabinet meetings on issues in which she's interested.

Asked whether his wife would sit in on Cabinet meetings, Giuliani said, "If she wanted to. If they were relevant to something that she was interested in. I mean that would be something that I'd be very, very comfortable with."

Giuliani described his wife of almost four years as a close adviser who has as much involvement in his campaign as she wants.

Asked if she would sit in on policy meetings, Judith Giuliani, who was a nurse, said: "If he asks me to, yes. And certainly in the areas of health care."

Hillary headed the Task Force on National Health Care Reform. It was announced during the campaign that she would be having a great amount of input into national policy (Mr. Clinton touted it as "Two for the price of one"). Of course, the Republi-cants faked great horror at this prospect...

So of course this means they'll applaud this concept when it comes from another Republican... Or will once/if Giulliani gets the nod...
