Good Night Nurse! Bush approval rating only 17% in New Hampshire
17% approval
62% disapproval
21% undecided
(among voters it's even worse--17% approval and 66% disapproval)

Among Republicans only 42% approve and 38% disapprove
Among Democrats only 1% approve and 85% disapprove
Among Indies 11% approve and 74% disapprove

Also Sununu is in trouble in the Senate race--where he trails Jean Shaheen by ten points 44-34.

1. Something tells me his national approval ratings are the same
I think he sank below the low 30's long ago but corporate news-sponsored polls won't report it.

2. That's been my take for a few months now.
They have bene ORDERED not to release anything lower than 30%. There's no way he can maintain 30% for this long...

3. It's about that nationally
He is down to the psycho nutjobs and super-fundies. The Rove machine keeps releasing these BS "poll numbers" that artificially make him seem to float around 33%, but Bush's real approval number is well below that.

4. I'm still waiting to hear a story end with the words "unpopular war-time president"
because I heard the opposite over and over and over again when barbarianism was fashionable.

5. With numbers like that he's going to have a difficult time getting re-elected.
