In summary, what does today's hearing indicate
about Gonzales management capabilities?

Looks to me like a completely unprofessional department with no due diligence.

2. Gonzo is gone...
This was a disgrace, even the repubs cringed. Sampson fingered him. He's gone tomorrow, that's my bet. This is getting worse and worse for Bush. Tomorrow, a.m. AG is gone. Any bets on this?

4. Completely unacceptable and incompetent. They have no record of the
'complaints', who made them, and on what dates. No evidence that backs up Kyle's decision to put them on his little 'list'. No evidence that any US Attorney did anything wrong or performed badly. Like every other organization and agency, this corrupt and rotten administration has destroyed a fine institution. And no one knows 'nothing' and can't remember their own names.

5. Completely partisan. They did just what they wanted and
damn any laws, regulations or ethics. Karl Rove's protege did what he had to do to protect those above him, by not 'recalling' anything that would implicate anyone, including himself. How many times did Sampson say 'I can't recall', 'In my mind it wasn't like that', 'No Senator, it wasn't like that', 'I don't remember', 'As I testified earlier....', 'I'd like to see a copy of that', etc., ad naseum.

Kyle keeps a list of USA names for two years with no documentation, no info on the persons responsible for putting a name on the list, no investigation of why a USA got on the list, no contact with the affected USA (except Dec. 7 notice of dismissal). He is the keeper of the list yet he has no paper trail. This isn't incompetence it is deliberate partisan behavior. Justice = Just Us.

I hope the Senators nail his ass and all those involved for this. The sheer amount of corruption is staggering. My COUNTRY!

6. He bleats, doesn't he?
"I don't remember....baaa baaa baaa."

"I don't recall...baa baa baaaa."

"Did I put on my underwear this morning? Did I zip my fly? Baaa baa baaa."

I don't want incompetent hacks who can't remember anything running my country.

I hope everyone, and I mean everyone, who sees even a small excerpt of his testimony notices how he bleats.

7. Sampson was addressing the Fox News audience. It's really funny-
As their rhetoric has drifted further and further from reality, Fox News has drifted with them. They're so insulated, they don't seem to realize how their statements and actions are playing *outside* the tiny demographic they focus on.
