1. They want to see if the poor people are getting better quality
drugs than they (pols) are. It shouldn't be that way.

At least that's my take on it.

2. Anything to fuck your life up.
They look for illegal drugs. The hard drugs are out of your bloodstream in a day or two, but cannabis can be detected up to 6 weeks after use.

Test your government! Not your urine! :smoke:

4. They're just priming your fear pump.
To make sure that you have a fresh supply of fear in your system.

Fear is their principle power tool.

As long as you are fearful, they remain where they are.

7. I think some of it is just giving business to their buddies who run drug-testing cos.
Secondarily, I think they figure drug abuse is perhaps slightly more common among liberals; but even if not, they can selectively prosecute.

Knowledge is power, and the more info they have on us, the more likely they can find something to leverage against us.

9. They're looking for flickers of independent thought
which must, of course, be stamped out at the moment of conception, for the safety of the state, comrade.

10. Drug test the politicians first.
There is talk of testing people on unemployment around here. Great way to piss away tax dollars, isn't it? Most people on unemployment were terminated through no fault of their own and are desperately seeking a new job. They know they will have to take a drug test for the new job. Does it make sense for the state to waste tax dollars testing them?

Clearly the politicians who are proposing this are on crack, they need to submit to a hair drug test so we can be sure they aren't whacked out. They work for me after all, I want an employee who is clean & sober.

13. I think it's important to show up for job interviews on the drug of your choice.

That way, if you make it to the drug-test, you can prove you're still competent - even when you're high.
