The crap that passes for 'news': Willie Aames (AKA Bible man) has a garage sale - front page news!!

Cash-strapped former TV star holds garage sale
The Associated Press

Cash-strapped former "Eight is Enough" and "Charles in Charge" star Willie Aames is selling off his belongings in suburban Kansas City.

Dozens showed up Thursday at a garage sale at his Olathe home, where Aames made deals with bargain-hunters and signed autographs.

A production crew filmed the sale for a TV show.

The 48-year-old Aames has fallen upon hard times. He filed for bankruptcy last year and his home is in foreclosure.

Items on sale included antiques, artwork, a piano, deer head mounts and TV and movie memorabilia.

1. The Lord moves in mysterious ways
But that doesn't mean those ways aren't sometimes hilarious.

14. Did he have a recovery?
Nothing in the article mentions addictions. I don't remember Willie being anything but religious.

I only really knew due to my big ass crush back in the day. Admittedly that is pretty over for lots of reasons but I am happy he stopped the drugs.

Scott Baio:

My point was to point out that if you don't take care of yourself, you'll age poorly.:eyes:

12. Sad
His car got repoed, his wife left him, he fell off the wagon after 20 years sober, tried to kill himself, and now he's having to sell his Bibleman posters.

But he should have a new career path open: country singer. I swear there's a country song in here somewhere.
