Rove's 'Representives to watch in '08 list' that came out yesterday. She's in central NC district, I wonder if there's a connection?

7. Robin Hayes
He's actually the rep from the district where my hometown is. He's very conservative and pro-war and came out recently and said that we would win in Iraq only by spreading the message of Jesus Christ and converting Muslims to Christianity.

:eyes:

District 8 is a relatively moderate district in NC. Last year, Hayes only won with 50.1% of the votes (a margin of 328 votes), and his Dem challenger said he is going after a rematch in 2008. I say Hayes is a prime target to be taken out next year! Rove's right, he should be worried about Hayes keeping his seat. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

8. That was Larry Kissell, wasn't it?
I'd like to see him run again, he seemed like a good guy. Social Studies teacher, or something, isn't he? I'm in that battleaxe Virgina Foxx's district (5th), I'm hoping we'll have someone good to run against her next year; I have heard about someone who's thinking of running that I think could have a good chance.

9. Yeah, that was him!
I hope he runs again too, I did like him. It's too bad he didn't win, I think he would have been great. But after losing by such a narrow margin, I bet he would have a good chance at winning a rematch. It looks like NC-8 may turn blue next year! :)

Virginia Foxx, huh? Damn, you have my sympathies. :puke: It's too bad Allen Joines won't run, huh?
