1. Whoa Nellie
I'm getting old fast enough. And I don't want to miss the ass whippings coming in the next 20 months. And being the lunatic liberal that I am I see bush's misery (possibly) ending in 2009 and I don't want that to happen.

2. I don't, as Bush/Rove will have already launched a bioterror attack...
as the GOP can't 'steal' a landslide.
The Reichwing will not yield power - they will attack us before the 2008 'elections.'

5. what do you mean? this is my business
there are alot of municipal elections we should all be paying attention to between now and then. it's just too sad that the tiny races just aren't sexy enough for some hardcore "netroots" dems to log off of their computers and volunteer for.

6. Back to business?
Anyone who's in this just because of Bush is a gold-plated dilettante.

Blaming Bush is like blaming Mickery Mouse when Disney screws up.

Unless you're simply assuming a Dem will be in come '09.

And that's one hell of an assumption.

"Back to business."

9. Let's assume a Dem is prez in 09. It's not impossible.
But, even if Democrats own the two houses and the administration, that's no guarantee of automatic end of war, automatic universal health care, etc.

Democrats are not a unified force. Given governmental supremacy over Repubs, we will turn on each other over issues like gun control, border control, drug laws, environment laws, and even universal health care and the war.

Democrats in power don't automatically do the right things. They need to be pushed by "we who know what the right things are". Which means they'll be pushed in every direction imaginable.

:)

7. I just hope we can get there
without being involved in another great depression and/or are on the losing end of the next world war.

I'm not sure we can wait until January, 2009.

13. Not to burst your hope
But we are in for a hell of a ride well before things begin to get any better . If you consider jsut how screwed up this country / world is it will take decades to start to look and feel better . Bush may be out but who will be next and what will their devices be ?

15. Don't wish your life away.
You don't what all is going to transpire by that time. I do know, if nothing was done about the corruption, crimes, etc. and same behind the scenes powers still wield power, we still won't be free of trouble.
