I Like Chris Hansen Better in To Catch a Debt Collector
Edited on Fri Mar-27-09 10:04 PM by Stephanie

Don't you? To Catch a Predator became a parody of itself but watching him trick debt collectors into admitting to crimes tonight was cool.

1. I was getting too bummed out by that point in the report. I turned off the tv
the point when they were about to start the part on debt collectors. I don't know how they sleep at night, frankly. What slime.

2. It was crazy
The debt collectors were pretending to be cops and (illegally) threatening to arrest people. Then Chris goes to Buffalo and barges into their office and it's all run by actual thieves with criminal records. It shed some light.

3. Wow. I should have stayed with it. I got hounded by similar sleazebags in the
past - not even over a debt I owed...it was a law firm that was obviously a collections-type of company. They were
absolutely shameless. It was exasperating and a bit frightening too.

5. One of these days somebody is going to shoot that guy in the face.
Now that would be TV worth watching. Bread & circuses, my friends, bread & circuses. The decline of the empire.
