Jobseekers! Mayor Mike Is Hiring Volunteers...

Bloomberg Must Pay For Campaign Volunteers
Posted by Roy Edroso at 5:17 PM, March 27, 2009

Most people who canvass for city candidates are unpaid volunteers who do so out of devotion to the cause or to gain political credentials. But the world's richest mayor apparently knows better than to ask peasants to work his hustings for free. So his vassals have placed a craigslist ad seeking "well-spoken, persuasive, confident, and hard working" people to "have one-on-one contact with voters on a daily basis." You'll get hourly pay plus "transportation costs and food." Send your CV to resumes@mikebloomberg2009.com and help return democracy to its roots -- as the exclusive province of land owners.

2. You've got to be kidding
Bloomberg bought off the City Council and sold the entire city to the RNC for their convention, but my time is not for sale to this jerkoff.

3. Ah, sorry, worked on West 57th years ago when Dinkel was mayor.
New York was a great place to work and I commuted on the train from Jersey. However,I don't blame you, sorry I was clueless on that.. He's going for a third time? Not good..

4. NY voted in term limits a few years ago and Bloomberg got the City Council to overturn it
He's a POS mayor who's sole purpose in life is to sell off choice properties to his zillionaire developer friends. Take a look at some of the coverage of Atlantic Yards. He's an autocrat, he's a bully. You should have been here in 2004. ALL of midtown was blocked off for the safety of the Little Chimperor. Hundreds of protestors were thrown in jail preemptively and for the duration. The "jail" was a stinky former bus terminal at 14th St. on the Hudson with pools of oil still on the floor. A friend of mine was in there for three days. NYCLU later sued and charges were dismissed. It was unbelievable. I can't stand him.
