Another Legalize drugs poll

4. Everything, of course. Saying one should be legal and another shouldn't is hypocrisy.

You can talk all you want about the relative harm caused by different drugs, but the bogus War on Drugs causes more harm than all of them put together. Plus, keeping any drug illegal (even vile stuff like crack and meth) provides the rationale for keeping *all* drugs illegal.

7. Banning sin never works

It just makes sin that much more popular.

Hostpitalized patients in control of their narcotic administration via pump take far less medication than those who need to depend on others to bring it. Anxiety is a huge component in pain and nothing builds anxiety like the thought you're going to be in severe pain for endless minutes while you wait for your medicine.

I think the same thing could easily be at work with some addicts, the anxiety of undependable supply contributing to the addiction, itself.

It's obvious after decades of no tolerance laws and Draconian sentencing that the drug war has been no deterrent.

We lost. The drugs won just like alcohol did during Prohibition and the cost in violence and ruined lives has been too great.

End the drug war now. Break the gangs.

8. Legalize all drugs

and go back to prohibition on alcohol. It is easier to smuggle powder than it is whiskey or beer. This would shake up everything. On a serious note I think weed should be legalized immediately.
