The teleprompter. I finally get it.
It's the "articulate thing", to paraphrase Bush the Elder.

The right wing feels if they can trick President Obama to not use the Teleprompter that his speeches and press conferences would be more like this:

"Yo, Yo, Word dogs! Welcome to my crib, brothers of the press. I'm in da house to let you know how I plan to roll with this budget. Now my boy Tim gonna give you the hook up from the Wall to da street on the flipside."

Of course after that, the American public would demand impeachment after the president is shown to be such a fraud. My, my what a brilliant plan, oh clever Rushbo.

1. Wonder what Rush would sound like if he didn't use notes?
Of course that will never happen so I'll retract my hypothetical.

2. They conveniently ignore the fact that...
...he didn't need a teleprompter to answer questions from the media last night and to give that one asshole the smackdown.

7. They also conveniently ignore the fact that teleprompters have been used
by Presidents for over 50 years. He apparently uses them more than others in the past, but their use is certainly nothing new.

It's nothing more than hi-tech notecards.

5. Shrub used an earpiece instead of the teleprompter
That's because he couldn't read fast enough to follow the screen.

12. And whenever he would have to read from a hard copy ...

... his handlers had to spell monosyllabic words phonetically so he would get it right.

More often than not the dumbass would screw it up anyway.

15. I think you must have meant "polysyllabic"
Even the chimp can read a few dozen monosyllabic words without "fennetick" spelling. :P

14. Joke Scarborough actually defended the President on this issue today
He pointed out that the President makes anywhere from four to ten speeches a day, and not necessarily on the same issues. There is no way he or anyone else can memorize that many speeches every day. And, for once Scarborough is correct.
