Smiles and smirks
Edited on Wed Mar-28-07 11:24 PM by live love laugh
Just watched that video of Karl Rove rapping. Boy! What a hoot. NOT.

Before rapping, the comedians warm Rove up. "Do you mind if I ask you some questions?"

"Lots of people want to ask me questions," smirked Rove. When asked his name: "Patrick Fitzgerald". Laughs from the crowd.

Rewind.

Bill Kristol gives a speech to college students and is heckled and disrupted -- some walk out of the room or are put out.

Bill smiles. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ov8nJ1lOa8 "He looks silly when he smiles" said some here who saw the video.

Fast forward.

Lurita Doan is deposed by Congress. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VePqzIrR-ao She smiles a few times as well.

What do these people have in common? How can they be so happy in the face of such great opposition? They are all radical Republicans. They are all in on the plot to overthrow the Constitution and the government. They know that the deck is stacked in their favor. They will give us our "show trials" and endure our heckles for appearance' sake but they will not release this country from their treasonous grips--and they know that you can't make them. So they laugh. At you and me. And why shouldn't they?
