He's got to fix the world. So say the pukes.

Well, Bush managed to ruin the world and still appear on Deal or No Deal.

1. Yeah, but I'd rather not have my president going on TV interview shows
The common touch is one thing, but trying to reach out to America through schlock is another. I'm a little disappointed by this, and feel like the effort to "keep it fresh" may get in the way of making needed change.

8. That's good to hear it went well, and it's been covered as a positive...
I guess I'm getting jittery between AIG, the economy and Bernanke's vaunt on deflation. Worried thinkgs are spinning out of control and that appearances on Leno etc are distractions.

2. It was "hard work" for Bush to walk
chewing gum would have been a death knell. He couldn't even eat a pretzel and watch TV at the same time.

Obama being able to do multiple things makes their heads explode.

4. what they don't realize is that this is his job.

He explained, in very clear language, directly to the American people, what caused this mess with AIG. I have never heard it explained better in so few words. He was great.

He was also upbeat and funny and exuded confidence and spirit. What's not to like. He's the moral leader of our country and he's leading by keeping us all together and encouraging us.
