What the hell is wrong with anyone who says this young lady is "fat?"

First, it is a stupid argument.

Second, Ms. McCain sure as hell does not look "fat" to me!

I just do not understand the personal attack made by Laura Ingraham. What in the hell gives with that? Maybe it is jealousy? Maybe she wishes she was this nice looking?

11. Debating whether she's fat or not misses the point -- actually, it *supports* Ingraham's point.

Saying "She's not fat!" can imply that if she *were* fat, then the insult would be OK. Posting pictures and debating whether someone is fat or not supports the paradigm that someone's appearance is something to be judged, that there is a cutoff beyond which it's OK to make fun of someone.

Instead, I'd recommend ignoring Ingraham, who always barfs verbal crap anyway, and Meghan McCain, who so far hasn't said anything worthwhile.

The first one is that it is a VERY stupid argument. Even if Meghan McCain were fat, it is irrelevant. It is what she says that counts one way or the other. Either it is well thought out and relevant...or it is not...or maybe somewhere in between.
