11. Let's assume for a moment that Dick is right...

just for the sake of argument.

Furthermore, let's expand on Dick and Bush's policies and anytime we can identify a terrorist, we kill said terrorist and/or burn their village or neighborhood to the ground, kill all the men, rape all the women, poison the livestock, torch the fields, plow salt into the soil, and erect a monument in the middle of town that says, "THIS is what happens to terrorists". I'm sure the wingnuts would be all pop a chubby at just the thought.

I have little doubt such a policy would make America "safer" at least in the short term. It worked great for the Romans for centuries.

However, at some point you lose more than you would ever hope to gain.

And THAT'S what's completely fucked up about Dick and Bush's neocon "policies". At some point you become your enemy. Personally I would rather defeat those who use terrorism as a weapon, not join them. Call me crazy.
