Republican Reorganization Meeting in my County this week and

the local news reports indicate that they have no intention of doing anything differently. They are unapologetic for the mess of the last 8 years and feel that their "core principles" are the right ones for this country...that people are just too stupid to understand what is really good for them.

From what I can tell, their major thrust is to get more of the local college kids registered to vote. These are the same people who threatened college kids in the last two elections that if they voted locally they would loose their student loans and grants. These are the same people responsible for the cuts in student loan programs. I'll bet that these kids, whose parents have lost their jobs and their college savings accounts are just going to flock to the Republican Party.

The lack of a clue on the part of these folks is stunning!
