3. Politico = Beltway Circle Jerk

The "magazine" even though its never published is owned by the Albrittons...right wingers and was set up by Mike Allen and Jim Van De Hei...two of Rove's best buddies around the 2004 election. They have always skewed right and with "conventional wisdom" (that is rarely wise. I've never considered them anything more than a fancier Drudge.

They're all over teevee cause they hustle to producers and hosts...a popular right wing tactic. The beltway bubble is a tight one and the Politico knows how to stroke the egos, thus the heavy coverage.

As far as other sites, HuffPo is IMHO the leftish equivelent of Politico.
