Anyone play the lotto?

I rarely play but the jackpot is now at 212 million! I think a shot at that is worth a dollar or two!!

I know the odds are still astronomical but what the hell. The odds are zero if I don't play at all, and the money goes to schools.

more than once in a blue moon but not every week - somewhere about once a month... I will buy 5 quick picks and dream of buying my Hawaiian retreat with some of the winnings. :)

8. I do once in a while. I just like the experience of thinking that my poverty

could be ended with just a few lucky ping pong balls. Plus I figure that SOMEONE gets to have their dreams come true, and it's kind of nice to think that I was some small part of that.

10. I spend $2 a week playing Powerball. $1 each drawing. It's called "entertainment", folks.

I'm sure there are those who spend more than $2 a week on coffee or soda, and undoubtedly there are those who would call that a waste too, but until the numbers are drawn I can celebrate being a potential winner as much as anyone. So I don't drink and I don't smoke but I do spend $2 a week on the lottery. I think I can live with that.
