Conservatives want to go back to our pre-"socialism" days - What do you think they miss the most?

What do you think conservatives feel the most nostalgic for in our days where we still had a "capitalist free market"?

11. I think conservatives miss what most of them never had, and would

never have, even if we went back to pre-"socialism" days -- total control over their 'underlings.' Underlings could be anyone from poor people, menial employees, 'lazy' or 'stupid' or'unintelligent' people, black people and others of color. Also, male conservatives would just love to have someone, anyone, to kick around on a daily basis, and they feel like the women and children in their household should fill the bill.

What's funny is that so many of the conservatives fall straight into one or more of the categories themselves, and would be kicked around by other conservatives they previously admired. They despise education, slack off at slacker jobs, and live in their mom's basement -- what on earth makes them think they're something special is beyond me. They better hope to hell the whole country goes 'socialist' because that's the only way they're going to make it.

Oh, I forgot -- lots of them think their guns are gonna make them the kings of the hill. Of course, they forget that bigger fish than they are waiting out there with machine guns.
