13. Looks Like Faux Just Did It...
Here he is live from the White House...

He said he'd cut taxes for the dead as well as cut their health care. Also said that Nancy will wear fewer designer dresses. He then declared war on the Zombie Soviet Union.

10. He'd tell the folksy story of the Welfare Queen who lived like a duchess while (white) working
folks were paying for her luxurious life style. Then he would cut taxes for the rich and propose that Ketchup be considered a veggie in school lunches.

Call for his inner circle of advisors/puppetmasters and have them write out a speech so he'd know what to say. Then, and only then, would he take a nap (right after the Capazin rub on his neck for all the head bob aches and pains speechifying gives him)

Ask Pittsburghers what Reagan would do. He would ruin what's left of this country's economy. What a switch from looking at that old, shriveled washed up "B" actor versus our energetic, intelligent current President. There is no comparison.

30. I think he would have a few options:
A)he would look confused, say "sometime when the team is up against it and the breaks are beating the boys, tell them to go out there with all they've got and win just one for the Gipper," endorse whomever the Republicans nominate, and then go back to being dead.

B) he would look confused, say "I approve of larceny; homicide is against my principles," endorse whomever the Republicans nominate and then go back to being dead.

C) he would look confused, ask "Where's the rest of me," endorse whomever the Republicans nominate and then go back to being dead.

41. He would magnify it as this was the long term implications of his policies.
What if Reagen had kept the solar panels on the White House, and promoted renewable energy instead of turning back the clock to our nation's Mid-Industrial Age of reliance on dead, finite, society destroying, foreign nation controlled fuel?

Would we have seen $4+ a gallon gasoline with it's dampening effect on economic growth? Would we have been so motivated to wage treasury sucking, humanity depleting, national standing eroding war on the other side of the planet for the primary purpose of controlling this dead, finite, society destroying fuel.

Maybe FOX "News" should consult an *addicted crack whore and find out?

*I apologize to any addicted crack whores because for the most part, they don't murder people for their addiction.

42. Well, I'm going to point some things out...
He would have done exactly what Obama is doing right now. Lets face it, the Republican party of today would never elect him. Reagan was indeed willing to:

1. Raise taxes.
2. Take over banks (See S&L crisis).
3. Have a spending bill to jump start the economy (just use it different areas...such as Military Spending).
4. Work with Democrats.
5. Willing to negotiate with America's "enemies", such as Gorbachev, whereas Bush would think negotiating diplomatically is a sign of weakness.

Oh and he would have never got into a protracted war in the Mid-east. He was smart enough to realize there is no "winning" there. Only thing you can do is empower groups friendly to your cause with aid and hope for the best.

THE REPUBLICAN PARTY IS NOT THE PARTY OF REAGAN....It is the party of Bush (Sr. & Jr.). Reagan empowered the Afghan people to fight off the Soviets...Bush did not help them rebuild and left them high and dry....what a surprise it degenerated to a terrorist haven. Instead of asking what Reagan would do, maybe they should actually start doing what Reagan would do and not Bush.

IF he was even AWARE of the crisis.. I think they kept that old coot out of the loop for most of his 8 years there.

There was a real sense of "Sunset Boulevard" going on around that place..

"Mr. President, they're gonna be ready for your close up soon.. better go study your script"..

Ronnie was Norma Desmond-in-drag for most of his presidency..:(
