Currently, Rush is way behind in every state except Vermont and Nevada (low vote counts resulting in a tie); even Texas and Florida.

Hard to know how to vote this: build up his negatives, or help him along to support the Republican Party's continuing drift down the path to irrelevance?

Which runs like this "Can you win an election by firing up your base and ignoring the middle?" In other words the added votes you get and support you get by firing up the middle, can that offset the votes you will lose by looking radical to the moderates. Obviously we can't know if it would work both ways; the Democratic Party is unlikely to even treat respectfully the leftists in the party.

benefit from his hate propaganda without being publicly associated with it. Now that the brain of the party has become the *face* of the party, no-- he's not good for them. But there's nothing they can do about it.
