Limbaugh wing nut radio's Madoff
Limbaugh is telling his conservative followers that there's no crisis. It's sort of like Madoff telling his investers that there's no crisis. After all, Madoff views the world from a penthouse and the judge isn't putting him in jail. Sound familiar?

I suppose that Limbaugh really does see it that way given that he's sitting on a pile of money in his cave penthouse while looking at a bucket of oxycontin. If only we could have the drugs he's taking! Don't tell him that the song, "These are the Best of Times" is from Le Cage aux Faux.

Then again, like Madoff, he needs his followers to have a certain view of the world. He needs them to feel good about the fact that they are conservatives even though they have led our nation to its greatest economic crisis since Hoover. We'll stick to our philosophy, he tells his followers. Have his followers noticed the economic shock and awe of the failed bush presidency? Limbaugh sure has a big job ahead of him if he wants to continue the ponzi scheme. Have you seen the length of his speech? You can google the transcript if you have the stomach for it. It's pretty long.

As long as his followers feel good about conservatism Limbaugh and his advertisers can continue to bilk them. Here in Colorado, Madoff skinned the right wing gabber who's on the air just before Limbaugh for a cool million. He's getting a second helping of bilk from Limbaugh.

Here's to Limbaugh, the man who put "con" in oxycontin.
