I have met smart conservatives, however, when it comes to politics and world events, they are the dumbest people I've ever had the displeasure to converse with. Actually, you can't converse with them because they only know Hannity, Rush talking points. They don't even know what is going on in world events. The biggest argument I heard over 8 years for W from co-workers and other conservatives I'd run into is, "He is a man of god." That's all they had.
