3. In a little over a month
since PRESIDENT OBAMA AND MICHELLE OBAMA AND MALIA OBAMA AND SASHA OBAMA moved here, they've been out and about in the District more than Fuckface and Pickles dared to venture out in eight goddamn years.

They're residents of the District of Columbia, and they're making an absolutely great start.

Fuckface and Pickles never even went out to dinner. Certainly not to the Kennedy Center or to any sporting events. Today, PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA went over to the Interior Department gym (it's a couple of blocks from the White House, and it's a really, really nice place) to play basketball with his pals for a couple of hours.

Fuckface used to don his goofball outfit and go out riding his bike, alone except for his SS agents because HE DIDN'T HAVE ANY FRIENDS WHO WANTED TO PLAY WITH HIM.

I'm telling you - these Obama people are just a fucking joy to have in our neighborhood.

And, the other night, Stevie Wonder played the White House. I saw that, and realized that I can die happy now.

4. You here too, Tangerine???
Didn't know about Interior Dept Gym. Where is it?

Really something, isn't it, that we've adopted them as neighors? Asked a server at Starbucks, 16th + K, how she likes the neighbors, and of course tho they haven't met, she's quite happy

5. Yeah, I'm across the river
in Alexandria.

The Interior Department is on C Street, NW, between 18th and 19th. It's really just a quick stroll from the White House. They've got a terrific gym there.

My first job as a lawyer was with Interior. I spent a lot of time in coal mines in West Virginia and western Pennsylvania. When I realized I liked being above ground, I moved on.

All the cab drivers in the area are wild about Obama. It's fun to talk with them about him.

Isn't it lovely, knowing the Obamas are here now?

7. Yes, it is lovely that they're here!
And how the family will enjoy the Cherry Blossoms!

You went from coal mines to what? I did railroads. Haven't been downtown enough recently to chat with any cabbies.

8. I went from coal mines
to the entire globe. Everything from hitchhiking all over Europe (yes, there was a time when you could do that) to going up the Amazon on an onion boat.

Cabs are easier.

Isn't it nice to see, almost every day, that the First Family is doing something else - a restaurant, a concert, a stop at a school? The Bushes were invisible, absolutely no interest in anything outside of the WH, Camp David, and, oh, yes, let us not forget, "the ranch at Crawford."

6. Shit-for-Brains wouldn't even talk to the press for the first few weeks.

What a contrast. It's good to have a real President for a change.
