A well reasoned response to a a terrible problem vs. a discussion about how inept government was during Hurricane Katrina.

Jendal looked foolish and totally out of touch, which is great. He represents no response and odd discussions and most important,
all who watched could see this clearly, not just us, but all ....

Exactly like Sara Palin when asked what she reads..responding with ..."all of them" such an obvious lie that it kinda makes her look foolish to the world. That is what Jendal did.

That is exactly what I said to my wife when I watched it
We were waling around mocking him imitating a patronizing moralistic mother reading to her retarded child. LOL

2. Absolutely what Republicons are all about: no solutions, lots of whining, and FAIL
Edited on Wed Feb-25-09 04:55 PM by SpiralHawk
Just as the Republicons FAILED with Katrina, as Jindal reminded everyone last night...failed miserably, didn't really even try, and let our Gulf Coast get slammed while they sucked up birthday cake and shopped on 5th Ave. for fancy shoes.

4. Exactly. If the message had had any resonance, it would have shined through despite
his poor delivery. That didn't happen, of course. Which reveals what a fraud and common den of thieves the GOP has become.

7. I just talked to my repub Mom
She asked me if I heard that "nice Chinese man's" speech, last night. She thought he was MOST impressive. It took me a second - I thought she was talking about Gary Locke, and couldn't figure out what speech she was referring to. Then, it dawned on me - so I said "You mean Piyush Jindal?" She hesitated, before answering. I tried not to react in a way that might irritate her, even more than having a raging liberal daughter already irks her.

Yea - well, I love her, but she's an 81 year old dedicated koolaid drinker and can spout fox talking points, with the best of them. . She does amuse me, at times.
