But I am emotionally mature enough and intellectually curious enough that I'm interested in learning from others and I have enough respect for many DUers to think they are similar.

I'm also willing to examine my own prejudices if I think it might help me to learn and to be more aware of those who are "different." I think that's a good quality. I think hanging on to ignorance, hell, wallowing in it, is what those whom we call republican, excel at and I'm not fond of "us" becoming rigid and simplistic in our thinking, like "them."

This is in part, why I continue to post here.
