7. More important than the apparent reversal in poll results is the lunacy of the comments

Something is seriously wrong with either the perception of the people who posted comments to the poll or those people are being given misinformation on which to base their comments. There are a few glimmers of sanity, but most of the responses are bewildering in their inappropriateness or baselessness.
