Watching Charlie Rose. They are just tripping over each other praising Obama

and trashing the current Republican position. And Jindal has tire tracks - he is under the bus.

Good panel - Goodman, Hunt, Krugman, a few others....Brooks thought it was the very worst Republican response to a Dem speech ever. He thought Obama's speech was just about perfect.

Obama has enormous political capital right now. If past performance is a guide to future performance, we are in for a beautiful ride watching this incredible man run the country for the next 8 years. Not that it will all be perfect of course, or that we won't disagree with him on occasion.

But tonight I am very, very happy.
