I watched the Obama speech on Fox
Edited on Tue Feb-24-09 10:24 PM by undeterred
because they are still broadcasting in analog in my area and I can't get digital. Surprisingly the talking heads had some positive, respectful things to say.

It was an excellent speech. I feel damn proud right now.

Big smile on Senator Feingold's face when the speech was over. :hi:

1. Very proud
and you were very brave to watch on Faux. I watched on PBS, and was very impressed.

3. I *still* find it somewhat surreal to find that he's our President....
Day-to-day stuff, I don't think about it that much. But big-exclamation-mark stuff like this, it really hits home for me.

4. I love President Barack Hussein Obama.
One thing I think he could have said differently was that the USA 'will' not torture. Instead he said the USA 'does' not torture.
The only reason it bothered me is because it is the same line Bush the Criminal and Chief used.

5. Sounds like your local fox network. Not Fox News.

6. It was Shepard Smith and Chris Wallace
I can somewhat stand both of them.

7. Chris Wallace actually made the comments
so it was the national network. Our local Fox is not right wing though.
