11. I just don't see that happening.
There's no way that the Daley gang will let him do it. And let's face it....Quinn takes his orders from City Hall. That's how this whole mess boils down.

10. The current governor (Pat Quinn)
intends to appoint a placeholder for a few months until a special election. Governor Quinn is currently pushing the Illinois legislature to enact a new law requiring special elections for senate vacancies, both now and in the future.

13. Yes, the governor attempts to sell the seat to the highest bidder.
But he gets wiretapped doing it, and is later impeached.
