"One-A-Day Womens' Breast Health"...how God damned stupid
Edited on Sun Feb-22-09 02:01 PM by Raven
do these people think we are? Oh, and another ad on TV today for some Arthritis medication that warns about side effects that will surely kill you but has a slogan of "Yes we can". I am completely disgusted. Are we ever going to wise up?

10. Never mind the FACT that Obama's logo was just as similar to Pepsi's ALREADY exisitng logo.

In fact, Obama's logo looks more like Pepsi's old logo than Pepsi's new logo looks like Obama's.

Look at the flow of the bottom shape.

2. I recently heard an ad for some drug
that has a side effect of TUBERCULOSIS. I'm in no way belittling whatever ailment, disease or illness the drug is designed for, but how does something that can cause tuberculosis get past the FDA?

4. Everyone is making money off Obama!
Even Kelly Services sent me a letter the other day proclaiming their new Yes We Can campaign. Sheesh.

6. Well, be fair. The arthritis medicine will kill you
only if you already have an untreated infection, while giving you the chance of living without pain and disability for a few years if you don't. If you had rheumatoid arthritis, perhaps you'd understand that is a risk worth taking.

The "one a day women's breast health" ad will eventually be pulled. Count on it. Nothing has been shown to prevent breast cancer, only a recurrence of certain types of it.

7. We must have been watching the same show because I think I saw both of those today.
It's funny how they list the possible side effects and risk of death in the same happy voice and music as when they are telling you how wonderful the med is.

9. That "breast health" stuff is just a marketing ploy to take advantage of women's greatest fear.
They might as well have another vitamin for men that, well, they're not sayin' it's like Viagra or Cialis or Levitra, but, guys, it'll, ah, help keep ya healthy there, ifyaknowhatImean.

Stupid, stupid, stupid.
