Since an arrest is imminent in the Chandra Levy case
and it isn't Condit, I suspect the media will all apologize to Condit for accusing him of murder.

Sorry. It's still early in the morning and it's awfully cold here. But seriously, the big media crucified this guy and more or less had him tried and convicted of murdering that young lady. And now police are apparently going to arrest another guy and claim they have enough evidence to convict him. Condit really should come out with the following statement, "Kiss my ass big media people."

1. The Republicans played Condit just right

Why is it that they can do any damn thing and little happens to them!

2. No kidding! What a horrible event that was.
"The official line among California Democrats last week was that "no one's really thinking about" how Rep. Gary Condit's (D-Calif.) woes will affect redistricting in the nation's most-populous state.

"Don't believe that, not for a second. It's all we're thinking about. It's all we're talking about," said a top state Democratic official, speaking on the condition of anonymity.

Indeed, few House Members could have a more significant impact on redistricting in California than Condit, whose Central Valley 18th district is ripe for a GOP takeover (President Bush carried it by 9 points) and borders two Democratic-held districts desperately in need of help from party leaders, who control the state's remap." Makes you wonder about why the media tried him in the public? http://www.fairvote.org/redistricting/reports/remanual/canews2.htm

They had to distract everyone while they did the work of the Gop.

4. I have a hard time caring about Condit. He was having an affair while
criticizing Clinton and lied to the investigators several times. He made his bed, let him lie in it.
