THIS Is What Politico Is, Folks: "The Obama Cabinet is a CEO black hole"....

The Politico is bemoaning the fact that the people who drove us into the ditch aren't in top spots. I guess to The Politico, stealing all of our money isn't reward enough for CEOs.

The money grafs:

Still, some long-time White House observers find it noteworthy that when Obama convenes his best minds there will be few people who have answered to shareholders as well as voters—people who know by intuition how the business community is likely to react to any given day’s news.

Um, there would be FEWER people who have "answered to shareholders", if Obama's cabinet were filled with CEOs, not more.

“It tells us a lot about Barack Obama, that these executives are just not part of his most inner circle,” said Stephen Hess, a senior fellow emeritus at the Brookings Institution. “There’s always been a place in government for these people who come from the business world, whether at Commerce, Defense, Treasury, or on the White House staff. But suddenly they’re not there.”

Hess got that one right - it does tell us a lot about Obama. It tells us that he's on OUR side, fucker.

EDIT: Typo.

1. Yeah, pretty much.
Rather interesting that Bill Richardson's nomination (a state governor) and Tim Geithner (head of the NY Fed) don't count as CEO's in this article.

2. Politico=Drudge in a Brooks Brothers suit. If it pisses off contemporary Wall Street
it must be good for us common folk and I'm all for that.

4. Fuck the "financial insiders". I was so pissed last night watching the news...
when they put on all these wall street guys complaining about bailing out those people that made poor choices and bought houses they couldn't afford.
I didn't hear one of those motherfuckers (that made poor choices and bought worthless derivatives) complaining when they got a trillion with no strings attached.
Hey, here's a big go fuck yourselves. Fucking hypocrites.
