I wonder if he has been subpoenaed by the defense or the prosecution. I would normally assume it was the prosecution but, given the Libby defense team's opening statement saying Libby was the scapegoat in order to protect Rove, it sure could be either.

In the end, it doesn't matter, just having Rove on the stand, under oath, having to answer questions put to him by Fitzgerald is a delightful thought.

Edited to add: Just read that it is the defense that is responsible for this.
