F*&% You Senators!!

Sen. John Kerry, D-Mass., said the $780 billion proposal breaks down this way: 42 percent is for tax cuts and 58 percent is new spending.

Well, gee, why didn't we just accept Rush Limbaugh's proposal when he offered it in the Washington Post?!?

Are you for fucking serious?!?

2. Why don't you wait to see what this all entails before you go off?

Just a thought. Your "righteous indignation" without a fact in your hand is boring.

7. Tax cuts for WHO?
Tax cuts aren't bad per se- what matters is who they're for.

8. I agree that taxcuts directed to the proper parties...
can be effective, but they will never be as effective as direct infrastructure and job creation spending. They have their place, but I would have preferred like a 1/3rd or 36% of the bill be taxcuts, max!

9. Right- in fact, tax cuts directed at the middle class are extremely important
for a healthy economy. Damned near mandatory.

And promised by Obama, as well, during the campaign.

What I don't want to see are a hundreds of billions of tax cuts directed toward rich people. Barring that, I'm fine with whatever Obama or Reid think is best.

13. Education bows to the military industrial complex,
and the dumbing down of the American People continue.

"Collins circulated a roster proposing $88 billion worth of net cuts from the measure. She proposed eliminating money in the bill for K-12 education while boosting funding for Pentagon operations, facilities and procurement by $13 billion."
