The full economic impact will be acknowledged when Big Media begins to suffer.

Some of their advertisers are already feeling the pinch. We read that the Super Bowl today will lack some traditional sponsors.

Who hasn't asked for bailouts yet? MSM. A lot of their revenue is contracted far in advance. They have a much larger customer base than any other industry. EVERYONE needs advertising.

When Ailes starts seeing his balance sheet take a crap, you think he might want to talk about it?

We know Obama will be blamed. Already happening. It won't matter by then. MSM Moguls will be gulping fumes.

1. The little people in Big Media are already getting hit
my neighbor is a US correspondent for a global news service and he just had his hours cut in half, while most of his coworkers got pink slips. They're taking it out on the workers to keep profit shares high.

3. But first they'll dumb down even more...

And they'll only do stories and talk about each other and themselves. They will finally BE ALL THE NEWS, ALL THE TIME!

5. UPDATE..
Silly me. I want to amend this. Since MSM is an branch of the government, no worries. As long as the gov stands, so shall they.

6. The MSM is 95% worthless, anyway
...at least where truth and accuracy are concerned. Informing the public of WHAT'S REALLY GOING ON is not what thay do anymore. Their assignment in the grand scheme of things is to dispense the official "line" and help keep order.

7. They help enforce policy too ..
The von Eschenbach-run FDA also came under fire during a Union of Concerned Scientists (UCS) and Public Employees for Environmental Responsibility (PEER) survey of FDA scientists, which found that the agency was "perverting science for political and financial benefactors," Richards said. The report also quoted scientists who said that Congress, FDA management, and the media were too easily able to interfere with their work. The FDA has also interfered with safe and effective nutritional supplements, Richards charges, but points out that, in contrast, warning letters to drug companies have declined dramatically.
