2. I'm really hoping these first weeks are a sign of things to come.

I'll be frank with you, I assumed Obama was going to be, at best a second Bill Clinton. I've been very pleasantly surprised to see how competently he plays the game, and he doesn't seem to be doing it to simply service the Democratic Party's moneyed interests.
