They got a bonus, my mom lost 1/2 of her pension today

My mom is 84 and lives alone. She owns her home she has lived in for over 60 years. It has a dirt basement. It is over 100 years old and not in great shape. She has Social Security and a small pension. The amount she collects is adjusted each January to reflect the changes of the balance of the fund. With stocks down, it went down. She went from $253 a month, down to $122. There went the increase in her Social Security and more. It will be a frugal year.

The bastards that caused all the mess got bonuses and bailouts. AIG, Bank of America, etc. They get to party. Maybe they will invite my mom to a retreat too?

5. You know when they're discussing the bonuses, they

mention the tax payers bailout money but they don't mention the amount of persons who are losing their pensions while these criminals give themselves $18 billion in bonuses.

6. Mom worked in a hospital

She worked in the decontamination (cleaned laundry, washed & sterilized bed pans, etc.) unit. When they started building a new one to replace it, she gave up part of her pay to help finance it. She did get her name on a plaque for doing it. The money she gave up didn't earn her a credit on her pension. They could have at least counted it toward her pension.

It's not increased liquidity, it's wholesale devaluation across the board. Everyone will be wiped in 1/2 when it's done.
