For those of you very cold and/or feel like you're freezing....Well,
right now it's 56 degrees going down to 30 in my area of Florida (Palm Beach County). It was 75 at 8 a.m. and has dropped steadily all day. See? Sometimes the grass is not greener...LOL..

1. We had 81° one day at 5 PM
At 1 AM, it was snowing. Of course it all melted by daybreak.

2. If it was only 30 outside here, I wouldn't worry about losing my electricity again.
When we had our last ice storm (well, the big one before the last one), it went down to zero. No heat for four days. That's cold.

3. I feel for you
But I have a clinically insane family member who resides in W. Palm Beach, a total rightwingnutcase, and if she is shivering and not happy, well, then I'm happy.

Yes, I am that petty.

HURRY!!! Don the parka!!!

6. You're lucky, you can pick frozen orange juice off the tree............
while in the frigid, miserable, dark, siberian tundra, frozen north we must go to the freezer. I'll trade accommodations with you anytime.

10. In Dallas: Ice storm on Wednesday that shut down the city, Temps in mid 20's
Over 700 businesses/schools were closed or delayed, thousands without electricity from the ice, over 100 flights cancelled, news reporters salivating over all the cars sliding all over/off the roads (pretty much live shots all day long of highways/overpasses...with them just WAITING for the next car to run off the road).

Friday: 70 degrees. Mid 60's this weekend.
