Bush tax cuts plus Bush war
That is what led to the economic crisis. Nobody had done it before. Bush did...plunged us into an expensive war for no reason while simultaneously cutting taxes. Most felt it was a recklessly foolish response and it was. Plus, he and Cheney opened the Treasury to their favorite war profiteers to dip from the trough. Add to that, our CIA operatives distributing, losing, and misplacing and possibly pocketing bundles of USA cash currency.

Bush took office in the midst of a 3rd consecutive year of budget surpluses under Clinton. Consumer confidence couldn't have been any higher at the time. People were relieved that deficit spending by the government had ended. Then came...................Dubya, the moronic.

If Bush goes down in history as the greatest failure in American history, it's entirely his fault.

1. I personally think that it is deeper than that..... I think that the Bush Administration....
had this in mind long ago. They planned this into there leaving power, lets absolutely destroy America, and they have damned nearly succeeded in doing that.

If the powers that be let these suckers walk away from this, then the joke is on us big time.

2. I have heard it said many times.
The Bush gang couldn't have screwed the country this bad without willfully meaning to do it.

I remember the 2 billion cash flown to Iraq and disappeared-never much mentioned in media.
