Who/where is the central command and control of the .........
.... congressional Republicans?

They are remarkable in their message discipline. I'm not praising the message. I am struck by their singularity and on-target message operation. They even use the same words, one person to the next. Who writes the scripts? Who frames it? There is NO coincidence in this. It is a sign of some intelligent control.

Who is orchestrating this?

1. And when the hell are we going to learn how to do that? Oh wait. That's right, we're Democrats.
"We" used rhetorically here, of course.

2. Give them $5 and get on their mailing/e-mail list. You will get the same
talking points as they all get.

3. I get my talking points direct from the mothership:
Of course I don't have the clearance to get the good stuff, but it keeps me going.

* The American people are hurting and our economy is in a recession.

* Congress is right to take action to stimulate the economy.

* The American people know we can't borrow and spend our way back to a growing economy.

* According to CBO, less than half of the Democrat stimulus plan will be spent in the next two years.

* The Democrats' plan includes wasteful government spending that will not stimulate the economy.

* Republicans have a plan for fast acting tax relief that will release the resources and creativity of the American people and create jobs.

* The American people have a choice between fast acting tax relief or slow and wasteful government spending.

* House Republicans are on the side of the American taxpayer.

I assume the real stuff, the "A" material that goes out to Repelican Congress-critters and drug-addled right wing radio talkers, comes out of some secret office building in Arlington, Virginia. I picture hundreds of pudgy faced young college Repelican climbers trained by their gods - Gingrich, Luntz, and Rove - working around the clock doing the dirty work.
