Columbus radio had some major shake-ups yesterday. It could create an opportunity for the return of Progressive Talk programming.

get a bunch of folks together and sign a few checks and buy a station. Then you can run whatever you want on it. You might even make a profit on your investment.

Yeah, the best outcome would be for a loaded liberal to buy a station. But a lower signal station on the AM dial costs about $1.5 Million. The other problem is that many Democatic officials view fundraising for alternative media as competition for Party and campaign fundraising.

They forget that Prog Talk amounts to 24/7/365 advertisement for Democratic ideals.

Columbus is really a Dem stronghold. If the issue is making money, the audience is already here.

Any new station should be able to broadcast through the following zip codes; 43085, 43015, 43235, 43215.
