Just sayin'.

Reid announced this morning that they won't try and seat Franken today.

Okay, I'll wait. But eventually: Senate Majority Leader Al Franken.

1. That's odd, Buzzflash says Reid is going to try.
See here: http://www.buzzflash.net/story.php?id=88202

Maybe not today but they are going to try.

3. Majority leader and other such positions are given based on seniority
Franken will be one of the most junior Senators.

Nice thought, but not for another few years.

9. Silly. I think he needs to be sworn in as a congressman first, and then
earn the position. This could take some time.

15. Yes, and a Cardinal is a member of the Catholic Church
and a Private is a member of the US Army, just like a General... :eyes:

When they're in the Senate, they're called Senators, not congressmen.
