Wow, Didn't see these crowds on Faux. Did anybody? I don't watch that station.

Snippet:

While Bush was born in New Haven, Conn., he spent his childhood in Midland. He returned there as an adult in the 1970s and met the future first lady, who grew up there.

He called meeting her "more meaningful" in his life than "any meeting in the Oval Office."

"She filled the White House with warmth and my life with joy," Bush said. "History will show that she was a fabulous first lady."

Well George, Your meetings in the White House were nothing meaningful for the American People.

Think "Mrs.Warmth and Joy" will hang in there with the Chimp?

1. There were 1,800 tickets for his "welcoming party"
that went unclaimed -- and the tickets were free. He can't even fill a hall in Midland.

George W. Bush, now the former president, flew to Midland, Texas, after the inauguration this afternoon and told a small welcoming crowd much of what he has been saying in his farewell speeches and interviews over the last few weeks. But in light of Barack Obama’s Inaugural Address today — and the new president’s stark repudiation of what his predecessor left behind — Mr. Bush’s speech almost seemed like a rebuttal.

had to have been drunk. Probably saw Bush and thought it was an AA meeting.

Either that, or when asked for a count, all 900 people held up both hands....

10. Remember the last time Dick Cheney gave out free tickets to a BBQ?
He gave invitations for a free BBQ to homeless people who showed-up at his opponent's black tie event.

18. I think they shanghaied a couple of Indian Bingo busses for the event
The crowd I saw looked like a lot of old people on pensions, or something, heading to the casinos. One old fart was shaking hands with anyone that walked past him. I believe he was a retired greeter from Walmart.
