President Obama’s first official media appearance ran into a minor speed bump today when Vice President Biden was unsure whether he was supposed to swear in new White House senior staff. Biden then took a lighthearted swipe at Chief Justice Roberts, who misread the presidential oath to Obama yesterday:

BIDEN: Am I doing this again? For the senior staff. Alright.

OBAMA: A number of the other members have already —

BIDEN: My memory is not as good as Justice Roberts, Chief Justice Roberts (laughter).

1. I'm not trying to get too .wrapped up in this mistake...

I just love the fact that humor and real life are part of the equation again. Good grief...we are all human...we all make mistakes (except Cheney and Bush, I guess).

Things work much better when people act human. Just my 2 cents
