7. I was floored watching it on tv..

I can not imagine being there. I'm sure everyone there has a story to tell, and I want to read every one of them. It's one thing to have the media report but so much more meaningful when DU'ers report.

9. It was an amazing thing to be right there.

I told my husband that we need to book a hotel for Obama's second inauguration. I do not want to rent from Craig's List like I did this time. Of course, the guy that owned the apartment was sooooo nice. He saved a parking spot for me, carried my bags to and from my car and even gave me access to his stocked bar!!!! Can't ask for more than that.

17. I did not need to.

Some people I sat next to did and they came back in one piece - after twenty or so minutes! There were no potties anywhere near the seat section but it was worth it.

24. I really liked the heart as well.

Evander was so cool. First of all, you would not believe how many people came up to him and he was just as nice as nice could be. He had an infinite amount of patience, and kindness, with everyone.

His wife(?)/girlfriend(?) (one of the prettiest ladies I have ever seen) was very cold. She was shaking like a leaf and so I actually got the opportunity to share extra hand warmers I had with her. Evander was cold and someone else gave their blanket to him! It was an ultra cool experience.
