Poor wingnuts...they lost big ...but its like they are in total denial.
Edited on Wed Jan-21-09 09:42 AM by wroberts189

If the Democrats lost all those seats they would be singing our epitaph ... writing our tombstone. Talking about how we need to move to the right. No talk of re-pubs moving to the left.

They seem to think they won or still have a big say in things. No mention anywhere of how badly their asses were kicked ..forgive my language. We got 59 senate seats now. (Franken is going to win)

No mention of how Bush brought down and destroyed the so called "republican brand" so much they are all afraid to be seen with him. What do they do ? They offer an RNC job to someone promoting racist songs (magic negro). Brilliant. I don't think they could be that stupid but I think they are ... I really hope they try to run Palin in 4 years. Could they be that stupid?

Yes ..they already tried it once. Jeb/Palin... ha ha .... good luck on that one too.

They are already trying to block Hillary as SOS... again good luck with that one fools. Will be happy to see you waste your time.

They want a big say in the remaining TARP funds... sorry. No more reverse Robin Hood. This money is going to the people ..not to banks who will not even say what they did with it.

They want to block any liberal judges from the supreme court.... hey you bunch of dumb jerks.. don't you remember the nuclear option and the up or down vote? We can do that now ... you set the precedent.

And speaking of precedents I do not expect the Obama camp to respond to and ignore any and all subpoenas until Rove and Myers as well as others show up. As far as I see it a congressional subpoena means nothing anymore.

Our turn now, and after fudging that inauguration speech Roberts should resign is disgrace. We pay them too much money to make screw ups like that, any little guy would have been fired. You could not have even brought a cheat sheet? Good thing Obama knew the words as he saved you from looking like a bigger idiot then you are.

One last thing... its clear to me your party is dead ..thank Bush. The Internet is here to stay and your lies will be exposed in minutes across hundreds of blogs . The republican party is finished. They never did anything good and the people are now awake now that you stole their 401k from them.

Its going to be fun watching you cry as Obama cleans up you're disastrous mess and brings more and more progressives into power.

and one last thing ...don't think you are going to cripple Obama with dozens of fake scandals. The Clinton years are over and the only special prosecutor you will see is the ones chasing the crimes of the last 8 years.

End of rant.

they are still a dangerous political force, coz they underststand power, where it stems from, and how to use it.

underestimate them at your peril.

3. We won 53 to 47. That would be considered a pretty tight score in most any sport
We did not win by a landslide. Certainly President Obama has a greater mandate than Bush ever did but compare it to Ronald Reagan's win as an example and its not much of a margin at all.

6. True but we also won the popular vote by over
13 million votes. That's a hell of a margin compared to Bush's first term theft with a 500 vote margin.

Edited on Wed Jan-21-09 09:53 AM by wroberts189

They are scathing.

Guy had a 22% approval rating on exit.

Believe me the pubs are DOA for a long time despite all the money they stole.

BTW
Reagan lied and there was no Internet.

Trickle down is now a big joke.

Reagan simply scared our sometimes disappointing Dems into going along.

But he had no mandate... only reason he won was because he made a secret deal with the Iranians ...TREASON. Then pardoned them all.

5. Everytime they lose they drone on about "returning to the principles of Reagan"
Memo to them: Reagan is DEAD. He's been out of the White House for 20 years. His policies may live on, but we are in the process of doing something about that.

If they look back to Reagan that will go down as well as Palin as VP.

to convince them that they still have a say in running things.

post-partisan? Personally, I think that is a chimera. Let's see how it plays out though.

Look at how he now has Lieberman as his little puppy dog. Praising him left and right.

Lieberman: I pledge to ‘do everything’ in my power to help Obama be a great president.»

Sen. Joseph Lieberman (I-CT), who was a fierce advocate of John McCain’s presidential run, exclaimed yesterday, “This is truly a great day for our blessed nation!” He said that he was “deeply moved and inspired by President Obama’s eloquent and stirring address,” adding he would “do everything” in his power to help Obama be one of the nation’s “greatest and most successful presidents.”

Partisanship is alive and well as is right and wrong.

Obama is *dividing* the enemy... like Jeesus breaking bread with Romans and prostitutes.

Like you said lets see how it plays out...hopefully to our liking.

I am no genius but I will say that Obama is a smarter person then I by magnitudes.

15. The Pukes, at least the few who walk upright and feed themselves,
know that Obama's charisma is the least of their worries.

What brought them down were crises they themselves manufactured and cheer-led, such as the petulant and unsuccessful foreign policy, their scorched-earth severity on immigration, their president's cruel and clumsy handling of the Gulf Coast storm, the clearing-house free-for-all on oil profits... and on down a very long and embarassing list.

Logistically, their Piggys have all been killed off and only the Jacks and Rogers remain. Not a good balance at all.

They will find it far harder to rebound with the extreme fundie nutbags clamoring for greater influence in Party say-so.

Not a happy list of political chores ahead for the loyal opposition.

23. Yes. A clear case of self-abandonment. No white stones left
in their pockets.

No way home but through Pat Roberts, Jim Dobson, the Perkins psychotic, and that whole bunch of Bible-thumping kooks.

If they can manage to evade the witch in the candy house, they could regroup under Lincoln's shadow once more and start over.
