You had people wearing bell-bottoms with t shirts and sandals. Then in the 70's it morphed into disco with the bell-bottomed polyester leisure suites and shirts with the wide collars and wide belts and shoes with platform soles. Yeah the 70's sucked fashion wise. And the music started going downhill then too.

I'd wear my bell-bottoms with everything from Mexican peasant blouses

to tie dyed shirts. I loved them. I also had a pair of wool Navy surplus pants (wide leg, button-up) that I wore the death out of. I also wore maxi granny dresses! The early 70s continued the clothes that I loved and then fashion disaster to me swept in. I hated all of that disco stuff and couldn't wear platform shoes to save my life. I still never wear heels.
