1. Windy day, late afternoon, clearly wanting some rest from the photo hounds.

Even if I was a pepperoni or whatever they call themselves, I'd give them a well deserved rest.

And even saying all that, there is a dignity afoot that is natural to them.

I am happy for them, and I am proud of this country and how it's going to recover.

9. Doesn't Obama look like he really knows how to accept a salute?

He looks like he understands that he is supposed to be deserving of respect. Bu**sh** always looked like he knew people *had* to salute and that was just their problem. Obama's bearing and attitude seem to say "thank you for your service, soldier" while Bu**sh**'s just says "yeah, whatever".

OTOH, maybe I'm overinterpreting. :)

But yes, I think that they are very much together together, SuperCouple together. Unlike the fools we have had who seemed to not particularly like each other couple-wise.
